Reconstruction & Rebuild in Boca Raton, FL

After the damage has been cleaned up and dried, the property needs to be put back together. Our reconstruction team rebuilds what was lost, from walls and floors to kitchens and bathrooms, with one company handling the transition from restoration to finished space.

  • Rebuilding after water, fire, and mold damage
  • Coordinated with BO Restoration from day one
  • Option to upgrade finishes while rebuilding

Where restoration ends and reconstruction begins

Restoration makes a property safe, clean, and dry. Reconstruction brings it back to a finished, livable condition. When those two phases are handled by different contractors, there can be gaps in communication, scheduling, and responsibility.

Because BO Restoration and BO Renovation are divisions of the same company, the reconstruction team knows what was removed and why, and can plan the rebuild while drying is still underway.

From damage to a finished property

  1. Assessment

Damage is documented and a recovery plan is outlined.

  2. Mitigation

Water, smoke, or mold is addressed and the structure is dried and cleaned.

  3. Restoration

Affected areas are prepared, and the rebuild scope is finalized.

  4. Reconstruction

Walls, floors, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes are rebuilt.

What reconstruction can include

Framing and structural repairs

Repairs to damaged framing and structural components, with permits where required.

Drywall and insulation

Cabinetry, counters, tile, and fixtures rebuilt or upgraded.

Flooring

Doors, trim, and millwork

Interior finish carpentry to complete each room.

Paint and final finishes

The last details that make the space feel like home again.

Careful, selective demolition

Every rebuild starts with removing what can't stay. We open walls and ceilings in a controlled way, protecting floors and furniture and leaving the framing, plumbing, and wiring intact for inspection and repair.

Selective demolition lets us see exactly what's behind the drywall before new work begins, so the rebuild is planned around real conditions, not guesses.

Rebuild, or rebuild better

Some homeowners use reconstruction as an opportunity to make improvements they'd been planning anyway, such as a more open kitchen, a walk-in shower, or new flooring throughout.

We'll help you understand what is part of the damage repair and what is an upgrade, so the scope and costs stay clear.

FAQ

Reconstruction & Rebuild questions

Do I need reconstruction after water damage?

Not always. Small losses may only need minor repairs. Larger losses often involve removing drywall, flooring, or cabinets, which then need to be rebuilt.

Can I make upgrades during reconstruction?

Yes. Many owners choose to upgrade finishes or layouts during the rebuild. We separate upgrade costs from damage-related repairs so everything stays transparent.

Do you handle reconstruction for projects you didn't restore?

Yes. We can take on reconstruction after another company completed mitigation, once we've reviewed the existing conditions and documentation.

Is reconstruction also available without damage?

Yes. Rebuild projects and major renovations are part of our renovation services.
